Faith Forward: Building our Blueprint for Catholic Schools

For the past 11 months, the Diocese of Rockford with expertise of professional consultants from the Meitler group, have worked to form a strategic plan for Catholic Schools in our diocese now called Faith Forward: Building our Blueprint for Catholic Schools. A draft of that strategy was shared with Pastors, Catholic school principals and educational commission members and leaders during a Catholic School summit meeting on Oct. 27, 2016.

We have reached the point in this process where the draft strategy is ready to be shared for public response. You are invited and encouraged to read the document posted here and to share your comments and suggestions.

Click here to read the draft.

Send your feedback to FaithForward@RockfordDiocese.org. Please include your name, parish and city and/or your school and city and a return email address. If you prefer, you can also send comments in writing with your name, address, parish and school and city to: Faith Forward, Catholic Education Office, 555 Colman Center Drive, P.O. Box 7044, Rockford, Illinois 61125.

Thank you for your participation in helping to build our blueprint for Catholic Schools

Mother Teresa

WATCH NOW ON FORMED

Olivia Hussey illuminates the life story of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, the selfless missionary who brought hope, love and salvation to the poorest of the poor. The movie examines the fundamental moments of Mother Teresa's life from her childhood in Albania in the 1920s to her first calling as a nun, the decision to leave her order and live with the poorest of the poor, the vicissitudes of founding the Congregation of the Missionaries of Charity, and her great work of service in Calcutta and the rest of the world.
