Mrs. Jean Clementz
Jean has been a nurse for over 35 years after receiving her Bachelor of Science from the College of St. Teresa. In 2008, she received a Master of Science from Lewis University. Her past nursing experiences includes pediatrics, out-patient surgery, and school nursing. Jean has been working as a Presence Mercy Medical Center faith community nurse since 2003 at St. Joseph Catholic Parish and 2010 at St. Mark’s Lutheran, Aurora.
Jean states, “It is a privilege and honor to travel along life’s journey with those I minister to and serve. The people I meet and the stories they share fill me with courage, faith, resilience, and hope. My goal is to “provide compassionate, holistic care with a spirit of healing and hope” and to be a faith-filled presence in their lives.”
Jean has been a volunteer tutor at the Dominican Literacy Center since 2009, tutoring students in English as a second language. She lives in Aurora with her husband Chris and they have 2 adult sons.
A couple of favorite scripture passages Jean turns to for inspiration are, “do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 and “What does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8.
